Allegro.eu commences PLN 1 bln IPO on Catalyst market
Series A bonds worth PLN 1 billion (EUR 235 mln) issued by listed e-commerce platform Allegro.eu have made its debut on the WSE-alternative Catalyst market on Friday.
The bonds were allocated to 28 entities, including the largest pension funds, investment funds, insurers and banks. Total demand from investors exceeded PLN 2.7 billion (EUR 634.5 mln).
"We expect to issue more bonds in the future, including on the Polish market," CFO Jon Eastick told the debut ceremony.
The issue took place as part of the company's previously established bond issue programme.
The five-year bonds bear interest at a variable WIBOR 6M rate plus a base interest margin of 1.30 percent per annum.
