Amica SAAmica white goods to appoint R. Stobinski as new CEO on June 11
Listed white goods producer Amica's current deputy CEO Robert Stobinski will be appointed as the new CEO as of the general meeting on June 11. The previous CEO and main shareholder Jacek Rutkowski will take up the role of strategic advisor to the board after 22 years of leading the company.
The management board is to be further strengthened by Maja Rutkowska, who is currently a member of an extended Grupa Amica management board, responsible both in the company and the entire Amica group for the HR and ESG areas and corporate communications.
"The Amica group is now ready for succession. Therefore, I am confidently handing over the day-to-day management to a younger generation of managers with a fresh business outlook," said former CEO Jacek Rutkowski, quoted in the press release.
"This will allow me to focus on the most important strategic issues that build Amica's value for shareholders," he added.
Jacek Rutkowski, who has been a member of Amica's governing bodies for the last 30 years (member and chairman of the supervisory board in 1995-2003, and the CEO of the management board since 2003), intends to actively support the Amica group as a strategic advisor in the comprehensively prepared sphere of business continuity.
Shareholders at the general meeting convened for June 11, 2025, will vote on a resolution to appoint Robert Stobinski as the new CEO and also on to appoint Maja Rutkowska to the management board.
