Amica SAAmica white goods posts PLN 10.4 mln net profit in Q3 2025, below expectations
Listed white goods producer Amica posted a PLN 10.4 million (EUR 2.45 mln) attributable net profit in the third quarter of 2025, against a PLN 4.7 million (EUR 1.1 mln) net loss in the prior year period, the group's financial report has shown. The PAP Biznes consensus was for a net take of PLN 11.5 million (EUR 2.7 mln).
The group's EBITDA in the third quarter of 2025 amounted to PLN 41.2 million (EUR 9.7 mln), and EBIT to PLN 25.6 million (EUR 6 mln). Analysts had expected PLN 35.8 million (EUR 8.4 mln) in EBITDA and PLN 20.2 million (EUR 4.8 mln) in operating profit.
Revenues fell to PLN 636.3 million (EUR 149.8 mln) from PLN 649.5 million (EUR 152.9 mln) in the prior year period. The consensus was for PLN 653.7 million (EUR 153.9 mln) in revenues.
"As in previous years, in the third quarter of 2025, the household appliances industry faced numerous challenges, including problems related to the geopolitical situation, real estate markets and high interest rates," the management board of Amica said in the quarterly report.
"In the global economy, we are seeing a period of intensification of some of the geopolitical risks previously identified, as well as continued uncertainty about the future, which is significantly higher than before," it added.
Amica reported that despite negative consumer sentiment and confidence indicators, the Polish market saw an economic recovery in the past quarter.
