Asbis hardware has EUR 10 mln binding agreement to acquire Samsung store network in Poland

Listed IT equipment distributor Asbis has an EUR 10 million worth binding agreement with Matrix Media to acquire a network of 13 Samsung Brand Store retail locations in Poland, Asbis said in a market filing. Full integration of Samsung Brand Store outlets into Asbis Group is expected by year-end.


It was indicated that the transaction was financed from the company's own funds.

The purchase of the Samsung Brand Store network is part of Asbis Group's strategy to develop a premium store network in the company's local markets.

At the moment, Asbis operates 40 stores in 14 countries, including 33 Apple Premium Reseller stores in 7 countries (iSpace) and 7 Bang & Olufsen outlets in 4 countries.

Soon, three new Bang & Olufsen stores will also open in the United States.
