Auto Partner automotive hopes to expand in Western markets thanks to new centre in Zgorzelec

Listed car parts distributor Auto Partner hopes to expand its reach into Western markets thanks to its new logistics and warehousing centre in Zgorzelec, company representatives announced at a press conference. They noted that Auto Partner was optimistic about the coming years.

The deputy CEO Piotr Janta said that vehicle penetration in Poland was similar to foreign markets, but the average age of passenger cars had been rising in recent years.

He added that Chinese brands, once associated with electric vehicles, were now expanding mainly with older, less advanced combustion engines, which dominated their sales.

"For us, this is generally very positive news, as these will be easy to repair; they are engines that mechanics are familiar with, and they will not pose an obstacle to car repairs. (...) there are signs that this may have a positive impact on the repair market. We view this market (Polish - MI edit.) positively for the coming years," he added.

He pointed out that there were almost 300 million vehicles registered across the European Union.

"The EU is therefore our target market; we do not want to focus solely on the Polish market, which is obviously smaller," said Piotr Janta.

In 2025, sales in Poland accounted for 49.2 pct of total turnover and amounted to just under PLN 2.2 billion, growing by 5.2 pct y/y. Exports, accounting for 50.8 pct of revenue, increased by 10 pct and came close to the PLN 2.25 billion mark. The European Union remains the group's main market.

The group's international expansion in 2026 will be supported by a new logistics and warehousing centre in Zgorzelec, which, thanks to its location on the border, will strengthen the group’s sales potential in Western European markets, the company announced.

Deputy Chairman Andrzej Manowski said that the Zgorzelec project was a key investment, scheduled to launch at the turn of the year. He noted that its location would support expansion into Western markets such as Germany and France, while improving order fulfilment and shortening delivery routes.

Piotr Janta pointed out that 2025 was the first year in which Auto Partner achieved higher sales on foreign markets than on the Polish market.

"We did exceed it, albeit only marginally, but the growth in export markets was significantly higher. We are counting on this continuing in the coming years," he said.

Management board member Tomasz Werbinski said that several factors drove operating costs to rise faster than revenue in the fourth quarter. He added that the cost base now appeared stable heading into 2026 and should remain under control, while the Zgorzelec project was expected to start contributing to revenue and margins after being only a cost burden in 2025.
