Benefit Systems SABenefit Systems likely to update its strategy at turn of year
Listed employee benefit schemes provider Benefit Systems wants to update its development strategy at the end of 2025 or the beginning of next year, taking into account the acquisition of the Turkish MAC Group, company representatives told a conference call. Benefit may return to its dividend policy in 2026.
"Probably at the end of this year or the beginning of next year, we will update our strategy to reflect the MAC acquisition," Marcin Fojudzki, member of the management board of Benefit Systems, told the conference call.
When asked how the company views the resumption of dividend payments, he replied: "As we said during the refinancing and public offering to finance MAC, if all factors remain in line with our expectations, and so far this does not seem to be the case, we believe that we will be able to return to our dividend policy in 2026, which assumes a minimum payout of 60 percent of consolidated net profit."
"This year, we will still be coming out with an update to this dividend policy, because the current one was announced for 2025. We will probably issue a statement to the market to confirm everything," he added.
The company anticipates deleveraging the business.
"Assuming our CAPEX plan, perhaps also some smaller M&A transactions, but not on the scale of MAC, and the dividend policy from next year, if we are able to deliver on our business assumptions, we should also be able to deleverage the business at a fairly rapid pace, perhaps even in 2027," said the board member.
