Budimex expects to close 2025 with over PLN 8 bln in contracts, over PLN 18 bln portfolio

"It has been a very good three months – our bids have largely taken first place in terms of contracting. We were previously concerned about whether we would be able to achieve the same level of contracting in 2025 as last year, i.e. PLN 8.5 billion," CEO Popko told the conference.

"However, the value of contracts in the pipeline has reached over PLN 5 billion, of which PLN 2.5 billion are contracts in the railway segment, which makes us happy, because the last two years have been a challenging market in terms of railways," he added.

Budimex's CEO said that the group is supplementing its portfolio with large tunnel contracts, in which it has not participated before.

"This will allow us to end the year with a high contract value of over PLN 8 billion and maintain our portfolio at over PLN 18 billion," he added.

The Budimex group's order portfolio at the end of September 2025 amounted to PLN 16.2 billion (EUR 3.8 bln). The value of contracts signed in the three quarters of 2025 exceeded PLN 3.9 billion (EUR 920.8 mln). In addition, after October 1, 2025, the value of signed contracts amounted to over PLN 800 million (EUR 188.9 mln).

Cumulatively, after three quarters of 2025, Budimex had PLN 6.41 billion (EUR 1.51 bln) in revenue, PLN 509.5 million (EUR 120.3 mln) in EBIT and PLN 441 million (EUR 104.1 mln) in net profit.

"A significant part of our contracts are design and build contracts, mainly in the road segment, which are characterised by the need to go through an administrative process to obtain building permits. A large part of the contracts is past this stage and are in the implementation phase. We expect our revenue growth to accelerate next year," said Popko.
