InPost wants to launch door-to-door deliveries in France in '25; expresses interest in buying another UK company
Amsterdam-listed parcel locker operator InPost wants to launch door-to-door deliveries in France in 2025 and later also in Spain, InPost CEO Rafal Brzoska announced at a press conference. He also mentioned that the group would be interested in UK parcel service provider Yodel if the company was put up for sale.
"This year we are planning to launch to-door deliveries in France. It will also happen in other markets, Spain will probably be the next market where we will do it," Brzoska said.
InPost's CEO said that the priority is to develop direct-to-consumer deliveries organically, but InPost does not rule out acquisitions in this area either.
"We are doing door-to-door delivery organically, but we are also looking at potentially acquisitions if they were to happen in these markets. But the priority is to grow organically," he said.
Rafal Brzoska also addressed the UK market and potential acquisitions there.
"We are working with Yodel, treating it as part of our diversification in door-to-door delivery. We will look at every possible opportunistic move in Europe. So, if the process of selling Yodel materialises, we will be watching," the CEO said.
