LPP SALPP fashion plans to open 20 Sinsay stores in Uzbekistan by end-2025
Listed fashion retail group LPP will open its first Sinsay store in Uzbekistan in early August and plans to have over 20 stores across the country by the end of 2025, LPP said in a press release. The group also aims to expand into Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova in the coming years.
LPP announced a significant expansion of the Sinsay brand in Kazakhstan, adding about 60 new stores this year to the existing 24 locations.
Sinsay is set to debut in Azerbaijan and Georgia in the third quarter of 2025 and in Moldova in early 2026.
The Sinsay brand is expected to generate 75 percent of LPP revenues by 2027, with plans to quadruple its brick-and-mortar network over the next three years.
"The decision to enter Central Asia follows a thorough analysis of the market’s potential and aligns with our flexible, data-driven approach focused on stable, thoughtful, and profitable growth," said LPP's CFO Marcin Bojko, quoted in the press release.
The group noted that Central Asian consumers are price-sensitive, with nearly half still shopping at local bazaars.
"While many foreign brands operate only in capitals and large cities, often via franchise, we want to go further by opening stores not only in shopping centres but also on main streets and residential districts where customers live and shop daily," LPP's deputy CEO Marcin Piechocki announced.
"Our unique approach includes partnerships with supermarket and drugstore chains to leverage consumer traffic synergy," he added.
