Mercator Medical SAMercator Medical posts PLN 4.5 mln net profit in Q3 2025 - prelims
According to preliminary data, listed disposable gloves producer and medical supplies distributor Mercator Medical posted a net profit of PLN 4.5 million (EUR 1.1 mln) in the third quarter of 2025, against a loss of PLN 27.2 million (EUR 6.4 mln) in the prior year period, the company announced in a press release.
Mercator Medical estimates that in the third quarter, it generated PLN 145.2 million (EUR 34.2 mln) in consolidated sales revenue, which represents a year-on-year increase of 4 percent.
As indicated, the group recorded a good quarter in terms of sales, which, combined with an increase in margins, translated into an EBITDA result of PLN 8.9 million (EUR 2.1 mln).
"In the third quarter, we consistently achieved our sales targets for gloves and medical products, improving EBITDA compared to the previous period, which was due, among other things, to an increase in margins," said Mercator's CEO Monika Zyznowska, quoted in a press release.
"Despite the continuing challenging market conditions and turbulent external environment, the decisions taken translated into stable sales and the maintenance of Mercator's competitive position on the market," she added.
At the end of the third quarter of 2025, the group had approximately PLN 203.5 million (EUR 47.9 mln) in net cash and other financial assets.
Mercator Medical stressed that the data presented are preliminary and estimated.
