PGE distribution unit to receive PLN 343 mln for investments in energy security

Listed power utility PGE's distribution unit, PGE Dystrybucja, will receive PLN 343 million (EUR 80.4 mln) in funding to invest in energy security, Poland's Ministry of Climate and Environment (MKiS) said in a press release.


"We have signed another 3 agreements for co-financing investments that will strengthen the energy security of Eastern Poland," MKiS announced.

"The beneficiary is PGE Dystrybucja SA, which for PLN 343 million will carry out projects for the development of intelligent power grids in the branches: Skarzysko-Kamienna, Bialystok and Lublin," it added.

The total value of the investment is PLN 574 million (EUR 134.55 mln).
