Poland's natgas storage facilities 45 pct full on March 18

Poland's natgas storage facilities' filling level has fallen to 45 percent as of March 18, according to Gas Storage Poland, the natural gas gathering and storage company.


At the beginning of November, the filling level was 98 percent.

In June 2022, a few months after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the EU adopted a regulation requiring member states to store gas. According to the regulation, EU gas facilities were to be filled throughout the year - so that by November 1, the stock level was 90 percent.
