GRUPA NIEWIADÓW - PGM SAPolish defence holding Niewiadow-PGM inks licence agreement with Singaporian AME
ZSP Niewiadow, the subsidiary of Polish defence holding Grupa Niewiadow - Polska Grupa Militarna (PGM), has concluded a licence agreement for the production of 40 mm ammunition with ST Engineering Advanced Material Engineering Pte. Ltd. (AME) based in Singapore, the company announced in a market filing.
Under the agreement, AME grants ZSP, for an agreed fee, an exclusive licence to use the technical data package and the necessary know-how for the production of 40 mm ammunition for the Polish Armed Forces and end users from 20 European countries that are members of the EU.
ZSP has undertaken to pay AME a licence fee for the technical data package (including all necessary expertise) relating to 40 mm ammunition. In addition, the agreement provides for the obligation to pay a licence fee for each piece of 40 mm ammunition produced.
The agreement was concluded for a period of 30 years.
ST Engineering Advanced Material Engineering Pte. Ltd. (AME) is based in Singapore and specialises in the supply of advanced weapon systems and ammunition. The company has over 55 years of experience in military technology, including the development and production of small arms, mortars and medium- and large-calibre ammunition.
