Enea SAPolish state development bank provides Enea power with PLN 1 bln revolving loan for RES
Poland's state development bank BGK has granted listed power group Enea a long-term revolving loan of PLN 1 billion (EUR 234.6 mln) for investments in renewable energy sources (RES), BGK said in a press release.
Enea plans to use the funds from the loan to finance and refinance expenditures related to the acquisition, preparation, construction, expansion, modernization, maintenance, or commissioning of RES projects.
The company's strategy aims for an installed capacity of 2.1 GW from renewable sources by 2030 and 4.9 GW by 2035, with a focus on photovoltaic installations and onshore and offshore wind farms. Enea will also invest in energy storage solutions.
The agreement marks another step in the collaboration between BGK and Enea, which has previously supported the group's strategy through bond issuances and consortium financing aimed at developing the distribution network and RES projects.
