Erste Bank Polska SASantander BP lender to rebrand into Erste Bank Polska on April 24-26
Listed lender Santander Bank Bank Polska plans to begin its rebranding - changing its name to Erste Bank Polska - over the weekend of April 24–26, 2026, the bank announced in a statement.
The bank has stated that the process will not require any additional action on the part of customers – all contracts will remain in force, and account numbers, card numbers, PINs and helpline numbers will not change. A new logo will appear at branches and ATMs.
The website address will change to www.erste.pl, and the app for retail customers will be renamed Erste. New names will be introduced for selected products and services.
From January 9, Santander Bank Polska, Poland’s third-largest bank by assets, has a new majority shareholder – Erste Group. The Santander Group and Erste Group confirmed at the time the completion of the transaction to acquire 49 pct of the shares in Santander BP and a 50 pct stake in its mutual funds unit, Santander TFI, thereby bringing Santander Bank Polska into the Austrian financial group Erste.
