Smyk CEO plans to take full control of company
Michal Grom, CEO of the management board of Smyk, the Polish group owning a chain of shops selling children's goods, has announced his intention to acquire sole control over the company, according to the website of Poland's antitrust and consumer protection regulator UOKiK.
"The planned concentration is to take place through an indirect acquisition by Michal Grom of sole control over Smyk Holding," the website states.
Michal Grom is a natural person who runs a sole proprietorship and exercises joint control over Smyk.
Recently, the media reported that the Smyk intends to approach banks for help in carrying out its first public offering in Warsaw.
