Alior Bank SAUPDATE: Alior Bank lender assumes end-2027 net profit at PLN 2.6 bln, ROE above 18 pct
Listed lender Alior Bank assumes that by the end of 2027, its revenues will be around PLN 7 billion (EUR 1.67 bln), net profit will amount to approximately PLN 2.6 billion (EUR 621.66 mln), ROE will exceed 18 percent and cost-to-income ratio will be around 35 percent, according to the bank's strategy for 2025 - 2027. Alior's targets for the end of 2027 also include allocating more than 50 percent of profit to dividends.
NPL (non-performing loans) level is expected to be below 4.9 percent.
The bank said that its strategic objectives included leveraging its growth competencies and consumer finance leadership to increase the scale of relationship banking, growing its active individual and business customer base, increasing revenues despite the expected decline in interest rates and maintaining its C/I ratio despite cost inflation and the reinstatement of Bank Guarantee Fund (BFG) contributions.
Alior wants to use the potential of the listed insurance group PZU to strengthen customer relationships. The lender, in cooperation with PZU, wants to develop its non-linked insurance offering. In its 2027 targets, it has assumed a 7-fold increase in premiums written from these policies.
The bank wants to maintain its leadership in the instalment loan market.
Alior plans to refresh its brand, wants to enter new industries with its instalment offer and strengthen its position in e-commerce. The bank plans to introduce a new mobile application.
The lender plans to redevelop its operating model, focuses on automating risk processes and optimising its liquidity and capital policy.
In 2024, Alior's net profit amounted to PLN 2.4 billion (EUR 573.84 mln) and NPL ratio was 6.81 percent.
