GPW SAWSE main floor equity turnover up by 31 pct y/y to PLN 43.9 bln in October
Total equity trading on the main floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange rose by 31 percent year on year October to PLN 43.9 billion (EUR 10.3 bln), WSE operator GPW announced in a statement.
The average daily EOB equities turnover on the Warsaw Stock Exchange increased by 49.6 percent to PLN 1.87 billion (EUR 439.3 mln).
Year-to-date, the broad market index WIG gained 33.7 percent, with the value reaching 111,487.05 at end-October.
At the end of October, capitalisation of the 359 domestic companies listed on the WSE Main Market amounted to EUR 231.9 billion. The total capitalisation of the 402 domestic and foreign companies reached EUR 529.6 billion.
