JSW coal employees back adoption of suspension agreement

Listed coking coal producer JSW's employees have voted in favour of adopting the suspension agreement, the company said in a market filing.


It was indicated that this decision paves the way for signing the agreement and launching measures to stabilise the company's situation.

A total of 16,203 JSW employees took part in the vote. 97.24 pcr of employees voted 'yes' and 2.76 pct voted 'no'.

As previously announced, the consent of the staff will enable the company to obtain the necessary external financing and avoid tough statutory restructuring.
