Poland's inflation likely to fall further in coming months, says FinMin
The next few months are likely to see a further decline in inflation, Poland's Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski assessed on X. According to the flash estimate of Poland's stats office GUS, CPI in March has grown by 4.9 percent year on year and by 0.1 percent month on month.
"Inflation in March - at 4.9 percent - once again below analysts' expectations. In the coming months, we are likely to see a further decline in inflation," minister Domanski wrote on X.
Poland's stats office GUS said in a flash estimate that prices of consumer goods and services in March 2025 have risen by 4.9 percent year on year and by 0.1 percent month on month.
Analysts surveyed by PAP Biznes had expected prices to grow by 5.0 percent year on year and by 0.2 percent in monthly terms.
