Poland's number of employed at nearly 15.14 mln at end-September 2024 - stats office
Poland saw the number of people employed in the national economy at 15,138,700 at the end of September 2024, the stats office GUS reported on Thursday.
At the end of August, 15,061,700 people were employed in Poland.
GUS reported that the average age of an employed person was 42.8 years, with a median age of 42 years.
As of September 30, 2024, the largest number of employed in the national economy (2,760,500), i.e. 18.2 percent of the total number of employees, was concentrated in manufacturing.
