Polish finance ministry cuts interest rates on retail bonds by 25 basis points in October
In October, the Ministry of Finance will lower interest rates on retail bonds with maturities ranging from 3 months to 6 years by 25 basis points, the Ministry of Finance informed.
The interest rate on 3-month fixed-rate bonds will be 2.75 percent, 4.75 percent in the first monthly interest period for 1-year floating-rate bonds and 4.9 percent for 2-year bonds.
3-year bonds will bear interest at 5.15 percent. Other bonds will bear interest in the first annual interest period at 5.50 percent for four-year bonds and 6.00 percent for ten-year bonds.
6-year and 12-year family bonds intended for beneficiaries of the 'Family 800 plus' programme will bear interest at 5.70 percent and 6.25 percent in the first annual interest period.
In September, the Monetary Policy Council lowered interest rates by 25 basis points to 4.75 percent for the reference rate.
