Poland's defence ministry signs letter of intent with American Palantir Technologies INC
Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and national defence minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz and the CEO of American Palantir Technologies INC Alexander Karp have signed a letter of intent in Warsaw concerning cooperation in the areas of artificial intelligence, information technology and cybersecurity.
Kosiniak-Kamysz stressed that the most important challenge for all armies around the world today is building information resources. He pointed out that databases are currently the most valuable currency.
"Today's letter of intent with Palantir, the absolute leader in data management and its use in battlefield logistics security and designing the future with artificial intelligence, is a milestone. The company's solutions are used perfectly by, among others, the Ukrainian army," Poland's defence minister told a briefing on Monday.
Palantir Technologies is an American technology company specialising in large-scale data analysis. It offers advanced software for the integration, processing, analysis and visualisation of huge data sets, particularly for the public, defence and intelligence sectors and large industrial companies.
