None of Polsat Plus Group companies given temporary injunction from Cyprus court, says supervisory board's head

None of the Polsat Plus Group companies has been given a temporary injunction from the court in Cyprus, according to a comment sent by email by Daniel Kaczorowski, chairman of the supervisory board of listed TMT group Cyfrowy Polsat. He added that the letter signed by Zygmunt Solorz, which was received by the company's managers, does not change anything in the current legal situation.

"The so-called letter to Cyfrowy Polsat managers signed by Mr Zygmunt Solorz does not change anything in the current legal situation and has no significance for the facts," Kaczorowski wrote in his commentary.

"This is probably another element of the media soap opera created by Radoslaw Kwasnicki, Mr Zygmunt Solorz's attorney. This way of conducting discussions and disputes through the media seems to be the basic strategy of Mr Zygmunt Solorz's attorney," he added.

Kaczorowski also pointed out that he prefers to rely on facts, adding that yesterday Cyfrowy Polsat announced a letter from the TiVi Foundation, which clearly confirms that the TiVi Foundation has no parent company and that the parent company of Cyfrowy Polsat is the TiVi Foundation.

"Furthermore, according to the information I have, none of the Polsat Plus Group companies has received a temporary injunction from the court in Cyprus," said the chairman of the supervisory board.

"We are continuing our work, with the protection of the group's assets as our primary task. This is a common goal for those who manage and supervise the group's assets. This is a key task and goal for us, especially in the context of information about 11 new companies owned by Zygmunt Solorz, in which Mr Radoslaw Kwasnicki is the CEO," he explained.

Kaczorowski also announced that Cyfrowy Polsat had not received any temporary injunction from the court in Cyprus and that it is not and has not been a party or participant in such proceedings.

Puls Biznesu daily reported that the court in Cyprus has issued a temporary ban on Reddev Investments and TiVi Foundation, the main shareholders of listed TMT group Cyfrowy Polsat, from performing, implementing and initiating changes in the bodies and structure of subsidiaries.

As it further revealed, according to the ruling, any changes are possible only with the express written consent of Zygmunt Solorz, the group's founder and Polish billionaire.

"A similar ban was issued against Stasalco, WBN Holding and Karswell, subsidiaries of the Solkomtel foundation, in which part of the billionaire's assets are parked," PB daily added.

According to unofficial information obtained by Puls Biznesu, Zygmunt Solorz personally informed the management board of Cyfrowy Polsat about the issuance of the security measures.

On July 21, TiVi Foundation, a shareholder of Cyfrowy Polsat, dismissed Zygmunt Solorz from the position of chairman of the company's supervisory board and appointed Daniel Kaczorowski in his place.

"In a letter to managers, Zygmunt Solorz states that the foundation's board's statement of July 21, 2025, regarding his dismissal as chairman of the supervisory board has no legal effect," Puls Biznesu reported.

Referring to the statutes of the TiVi Foundation, he pointed out that "as a consequence of the TiVi Council exceeding the scope of its authorised activities, the statement cannot be treated as a declaration of intent made by TiVi".
