Polish consumers expect lower inflation in May - stats office
Polish consumer inflation expectations in May point to a shift towards lower inflation in Poland compared to the previous month, according to data from the newest survey conducted by Poland's stats office GUS.
The assessment of changes in consumer prices over the next 12 months represents consumer sentiment on the expected rate of change in the prices of consumer goods and services over the coming months. This indicator takes values from -100 to +100.
A positive value indicates a numerical advantage for consumers anticipating an increase in consumer prices (of consumer goods and services) over consumers anticipating a decrease.
A negative value indicates a numerical advantage for consumers anticipating a decrease in consumer prices over consumers anticipating an increase.
