Poland's manufacturing industry climate worsens in June, outlook optimistic - researcher
Poland's manufacturing industry climate deteriorated in June but only in the private sector, while the outlook for the coming months is optimistic. according to a survey conducted by the Institute of Economic Development of the Warsaw School of Economics (IRG SGH).
The IRG SGH Business Climate Indicator (IRGIND) decreased by 0.2 points to minus 0.4. Over the course of the year, the index has increased by 5.7 points.
According to the researcher, the economic downturn was only observed in the private sector.
The index value for the private sector is minus 3.4 points, down 1.2 points during July. However, it is 5.5 points higher than a year ago.
The index for the public sector increased by 1.3 points to 16.7 points, up 0.5 points year on year.
"The outlook for the coming months is optimistic," IRG SGH said in the report.
