GPW SAWSE operator GPW announces increase in capital expenditures in Q4
Warsaw Stock Exchange's operator GPW expects the group's capital expenditures in the fourth quarter to be higher than the average expenditures in the previous quarters of 2024, GPW's management board member Marcin Rulnicki told a conference call on Friday.
"The fourth quarter will require us to spend more on capital expenditures than the average for the first three quarters of 2024," Rulnicki said.
GPW group's capital expenditures in the third quarter of 2024 amounted to PLN 13.7 million (EUR 3.2 mln), down by 15.3 percent year on year, against PLN 11.4 million (EUR 2.6 mln) in the second quarter of 2024.
"Our ambition is for the CAPEX/revenue ratio to be below what we've seen in the last two years," Rulnicki said.
After nine months of 2024, the capital expenditures/income ratio fell to 11.4 percent from 14.5 percent in the prior year period.
