Allegro.eu S.A.Allegro e-commerce sees GMV growth recovering in recent days
Listed e-commerce platform group Allegro, which slightly lowered its expectations for Gross Merchandise Value growth in Poland this year due to a weaker first half of November, has seen a demand recover in recent days, Allegro representatives told a press conference following the release of group's quarterly report.
"We have seen growth recover in recent days and we are optimistic about the rest of the week,” said Allegro's CEO Marcin Kusmierz.
The Allegro group has lowered its 2025 GMW growth guidelines in Poland by 0.5-1 percentage points to 9-9.5 percent, as a result of a slow start of Black Week and delayed demand for winter offers.
The company reported that the fourth quarter started steadily in Poland, with October growth exceeding 10 percent, but in the first half of November, growth was only a few percent.
Company representatives said that this could have been influenced by the long November weekend and the lack of winter weather - winter tires and clothing, for example, have not sold well so far.
The group's GMV growth is expected to be 8-9 percent this year, compared to the 9-10 percent growth previously assumed.
Despite the adjustment of its GMV outlook, the group has maintained its full-year guidelines for revenue and profitability growth.
Allegro expects the group's sales to grow by 8-11 percent and adjusted EBITDA to grow by 13-17 percent.
