Asseco SEE sees order backlog at EUR 364.5 mln in 2025

Listed Asseco IT group's unit, Asseco South Eastern Europe's order backlog for 2025, including Payten, is EUR 364.5 million, up 9 percent year on year, company representatives told a press conference. The group's order backlog for the third quarter alone is EUR 101 million, up from EUR 96.7 million in the prior year period.

"We are seeing an improvement - as expected - in the area of dedicated solutions. This can mainly be seen from the increase in the backlog. We expect this trend to continue in the second half of the year," CEO Piotr Jelenski told the press conference following the release of group's financial report.

The CEO pointed out that the EBIT contribution in the dedicated solutions area is still not as high as the company would like.

"Our long-term commentary is up to date - we expect to see an improvement in profitability, which will impact results at the group level," Jelenski said.

"Regarding the recent government reconstruction, it is such changes that are hitting project decisions - we expect to see an improvement visible in the second half of the year," he added.

The CEO reported that ASEE saw a slight slowdown in payments, with the biggest impact coming from Turkey, where one of the company's large customers is moving to in-house solutions.

"Cash conversion is improving, even though we still have collection issues and delays in both the Middle East and India," Jelenski said.

The CEO reported that Asseco SEE is monitoring the market all the time regarding potential acquisitions.

"It all depends on what emerges and whether the valuation suits us. Our criterion is synergy and increasing the market share we already have. (...) However, at the moment there is nothing that we can say that we are planning any major acquisition," Jelenski admitted.

"We have a positive outlook for the second half of the year. (...) We're going to be working very hard not only on margin growth, revenue growth, but also on profitability and how to optimise that - that's what we're heavily focused on right now," he added.

In the second quarter of 2025, the group achieved an increase in sales revenue to EUR 100.2 million, up 8 percent year on year. Gross profit on sales increased to EUR 24.9 million (up 15 percent), while net profit on sales reached EUR 11.8 million (up 19 percent year on year).

Operating profit reached EUR 11.9 million, an increase of 18 percent year on year, while Asecco SEE's EBITDA for the second quarter of 2025 amounted to EUR 18.1 million, a 16 percent increase.
