Czech Jet Investment PE to take over Polish plastic producer Plastiwell
Czech private equity investment company Jet Investment has signed a conditional agreement to acquire a majority stake in Plastiwell International, a Polish producer of plastic products, Jet Investment said in a press release.
As stated, this is the first investment in Poland under the Jet 3 fund, which still has capital of more than EUR 100 million available for further investments in Central European manufacturing companies.
Plastiwell International Group specialises in manufacturing of plastic products for international customers in the automotive, industrial and sports and leisure sectors. The company has been operating in the market for over 20 years and has three production facilities in Myslenice, Tarnow and Bydgoszcz. It employs a total of more than 1,000 people.
In 2024, the company's revenues amounted to around EUR 100 million.
After Jet Investment takes over the majority stake, the remaining shares in the company will be retained by the company's current sole shareholder and CEO Marcin Wysocki.
"Thanks to our cooperation with Jet Investment, we will be able to accelerate our expansion, enter new market segments and expand the geographical reach of our business also through acquisitions of other companies," said CEO Wysocki, quoted in the press release.
Jet Investment, which has had an office in Warsaw since 2023, is looking for further acquisition targets on the Polish market. The company is focusing on companies in the industrial sector.
Currently, Jet Investment has two Polish companies in its portfolio - Rockfin and Eurodruk-Poznan. Rockfin provides engineering services for the energy sector. Eurodruk-Poznan is a printing company.
