Enea SAEnea power secures at least 2,024 MW total at 2029 capacity catch-up auction
Listed power utility Enea has contracted at least 2,024 MW of total capacity obligation for its units in the 2029 capacity catch-up auction, the group said in a market filing.
Poland has completed its capacity catch-up auction for 2029 in the first round, with the initial price at PLN 536.80 (EUR 126.15) per kW per year and the minimum price at PLN 492.09 (EUR 115.64)/kW/year.
The portfolio of capacity contracts of Enea capital group has been supplemented by no less than 2,024 MW, including 1,218 MW for new units under 17-year contracts and 806 MW under 5-year contracts. Enea will now have no less than 3,530 MW of capacity obligations for 2029.
The preliminary results of the auction will be published within three working days of its completion.
The final results of the capacity auction will be announced by the head of Poland's energy market regulator URE in the Public Information Bulletin (BIP) on its website, on the first working day following the 21st day after the day of completion of the auction.
