Enea power wants to move electricity sales operations to subsidiary

Listed power group Enea has taken a directional decision to reorganise the structure of its trading area and plans to transfer its electricity sales operations to a subsidiary, the company said in a market filing.


"Reorganisation means transferring and continuing unchanged the business activity of selling electricity from the level of Enea S.A. as the parent company to the operational level of the Enea Capital Group," the group said in the market filing.

"As a result of the planned changes, Enea S.A. will perform management and strategic functions with respect to the subsidiaries, while the business of selling electricity to end users will be continued in the subsidiary of Enea S.A.," it added.

According to the group's explanation, the planned reorganisation will involve in particular the transfer of part of the company's assets in the form of an organised part of the enterprise to the subsidiary.
