Enea SAEnea power's Q1 EBITDA at PLN 1.94 bln, in line with estimates
Listed power utility Enea group posted EBITDA of PLN 1.941 billion (EUR 465.7 mln) in the first quarter of 2025, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company amounted to PLN 1.051 billion (EUR 247.3 mln), the company said in a quarterly report. The results are in line with the company's earlier estimates.
Sales revenue and other income amounted to PLN 7.59 billion (EUR 1.79 bln) and operating profit to PLN 1.63 billion (EUR 383.5 mln).
In the corresponding period of 2024, Enea Group had PLN 8.38 billion (EUR 1.97 bln) in revenue, PLN 1.53 billion (EUR 360 mln) in EBIT and PLN 1.02 billion (EUR 240 mln) in net profit for the parent company.
The Generation segment recorded an EBITDA result of PLN 549.4 million (EUR 129.3 mln) (a y/y decrease of PLN 380.5 million or EUR 89.5 mln).
The Mining area achieved EBITDA of PLN 389.5 million (EUR 91.7 mln) (a y/y increase of PLN 231.7 million or EUR 54.5 mln).
The Distribution area recorded EBITDA of PLN 744.4 million (EUR 175.2 mln) (a y/y increase of PLN 131.1 million or EUR 30.9 mln).
In Trading, the group had EBITDA of PLN 213.6 million (EUR 50.3 mln) (a y/y increase of PLN 134.1 million or EUR 31.6 mln).
CAPEX amounted to PLN 618.3 million (EUR 145.5 mln), an increase of 40.1 percent y/y.
