Enea power's share price up by 8.4 pct, PGE and Tauron up by around 5-6 pct

The share prices of energy companies are rising by several percent each. Listed power utility Enea rises by more than 8 percent, PGE power utility's shares gain more than 6 percent and Tauron power utility increases by around 5.2 percent at 9:45 local time.


The WIG20 index falls by 0.2 percent and the mWIG40 rises by 0.7 percent.

On Monday, at a conference to summarise Poland's Ministry of State Assets (MAP) year of activity, minister Jakub Jaworowski said that MAP has about PLN 600 billion (EUR 141,5 bln) of investments planned in the energy sector over the next 10 years.

In a press release, the ministry noted that over the past 12 months, PGE's share prices have increased by 29.4 percent, Enea's by 44.5 percent and Tauron's by 95.6 percent.
