Energa SAEnerga power EBITDA rises by 2 pct in H125, driven by distribution
Listed power utility group Energa, the subsidiary of Poland's largest energy concern Orlen, EBITDA in the first half of 2025 increased by 2 percent yearn on year to PLN 2.2 billion (EUR 517.4 mln), while net profit increased by 1 percent yearn on year to PLN 843 million (EUR 198.3 mln), the company said in a market filing. 46 percent of the electricity produced by the Energa Group in this period came from renewable energy sources.
The Energa Group's total revenues in the first half of the year were 6 percent lower year on year.
"We are consistently implementing our strategy and gradually finalising our current projects," said Energa's CEO Slawomir Staszak.
The Energa Group's capital expenditure in the first half of the year amounted to approximately PLN 1.9 billion (EUR 446.9 mln), up 1 percent on the same period last year.
The Energa Group continued to invest in renewable energy sources – in the first half of the year, photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of over 400 MW were underway.
