Enterprise Investors' funds with EUR 137 mln invested in 2024
The value of investments and investment commitments made by private equity company Enterprise Investors' funds in 2024 amounted to EUR 137 million, EI said in a press release summarising last year. Total income (including dividends) from investment exits amounted to EUR 150 million.
EI ended last year on a strong note - just before Christmas, EIF IX Fund signed an agreement to purchase shares in eTravel, the largest technology company in Central and Eastern Europe specialising in business travel management.
Together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as a minority co-investor, the fund has committed to invest up to PLN 250 million (EUR 59.5 mln), taking a significant minority stake in the company. The approval of Poland's antitrust and consumer protection regulator UOKiK is also required here, and the transaction is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025.
Since the company's launch in 1990, Enterprise Investors has established 10 funds. By the end of 2024, these funds had invested or committed to invest EUR 22.3 billion in 160 companies across a range of sectors and had completed investments in 140 companies.
The funds managed by Enterprise Investors currently hold shares in 18 companies.
