GPW SAGPW Benchmark to start publishing POLSTR and single base composite indices from June 2
The Warsaw Stock Exchange benchmark rate administrator GPW Benchmark will start publishing the Polish Short Term Rate (POLSTR) index and the POLSTR family of 1M, 3M, 6M and single base composite indices from June 2, according to the rules of these indices published on the GPW Benchmark website.
Real-time data release will take place at 8:55 am local time and delayed data will be released at 12:55 pm.
Poland's Steering Committee of the National Working Group for the reference rate reform (KS NGR) confirmed in April the deadline for converting all financial instruments to the new POLSTR benchmark at the end of 2027, as well as the readiness to stop developing and publishing the WIBOR and WIBID benchmark from the beginning of 2028.
According to the current reform roadmap, the first issuance of the Treasury bonds with the new POLSTR benchmark is to take place in December 2025.
In turn, from 2027, all new financial products that require it are to be based on the new POLSTR rate, which will ultimately replace WIBOR.
