Polimex Mostostal SAKogeneracja power-Polimex Mostostal builder mediation settlement approved by court
The Regional Court in Wroclaw approved a mediation settlement between listed power and heat utility Kogeneracja and a consortium of contractors consisting of listed builder Polimex Mostostal and its energy unit Polimex Energetyka, Polimex Mostostal said in a market filing. The settlement relates to financial claims for the performance of a contract for the construction of a gas and steam CHP plant.
According to Polimex, the approved partial settlement constitutes the basis for concluding Annex No. 1, under which the amount of the contractor's contractual remuneration will be increased by the net amount of PLN 157.5 million (EUR 36.9 mln).
The above amount will be decreased by the net amount of PLN 37.43 million (EUR 8.8 mln), representing the sum of payments made by Kogeneracja in execution of the decision of the District Court in Wroclaw of September 20, 2023, prior to the conclusion of the partial settlement.
The parties have undertaken to make concerted efforts to conclude the court proceedings, concerning the issues covered by the partial settlement.
