Mennica Polska inks deal with city of Warsaw for public transportation ticket system

Listed mint Mennica Polska has signed a deal with Poland's capital, Warsaw for, among other things, introducing and launching a ticket system for Warsaw's public transport, the company wrote in a market filing. The value of the contract is PLN 283.2 million (EUR 66.1 mln) net.


The agreement also covers, among other things, the provision of brand new equipment and its installation in public transport, metro gates and car parks, the provision of ticket sales services for public transport organised by the city of Warsaw, and the launch of a ticket sales network in at least 50 service points located within the public transportation's area of operation.

The agreement expires on September 19, 2037.
