Poland likely to see price drops at domestic fuel producers next week - e-petrol (opinion)
The coming days may bring price drops at Polish fuel producers, the market researcher e-petrol said in its retail price projection for November 11-17. However, as the analysts noted, the scale of changes is not likely to offset the price rises recorded in recent days.
According to an analysis by e-petrol.pl, the coming days may bring price drops at Polish fuel producers.
"As early on tomorrow [Saturday, Nov 9 - PAP ed.] refineries in Plock and Gdansk will introduce new price lists for the fuels they produce, but the scale of the changes will not offset the price rises observed in recent days," e-petrol experts wrote.
"If fuel station owners decide in the coming days to introduce an increase in retail prices resulting from wholesale price changes and will not increase margins on diesel, Poland's average price for popular 95 petrol should be in the range of PLN 5.94-6.06 per litre," they added.
According to the e-petrol's analysis, in the coming week (November 11-17) the prices of PB98-octane petrol will be within a range of PLN 6.73 (EUR 1.56) and PLN 6.85 (EUR 1.58) per litre.
The price of unleaded petrol PB95 will be in range of PLN 5.94 (EUR 1.37) and PLN 6.06 (EUR 1.40) per litre.
In the case of diesel, e-petrol experts expect a price range between PLN 6.07 (EUR 1.40) and PLN 6.19 (EUR 1.43) per litre.
LPG (autogas) is expected to cost PLN 3.04-3.12 (EUR 0.70-0.72) per litre at most stations.
