Poland's total gas transmission network should increase to 13,800 km in 2035 - Gaz System
The total gas transmission network in Poland should increase to 13,800 km in 2035, Poland's gas infrastructure operator Gaz System said in the ‘Development Plan for Meeting Current and Future Demand for Gaseous Fuels for 2026-2035’ submitted for consultation.
Gaz System states that a significant increase in DN1000 diameter gas pipelines is assumed during the planning period, which will form elements of the FSRU programme and the Centre-East Corridor.
"In addition to new gas pipelines of key and strategic nature, it is planned, as part of the implementation of other tasks, to build other new gas pipelines and to modernise those already in operation," they wrote.
