PZU SAPZU insurer counts on revenue in health pillar to rise to PLN 5 bln
Listed insurance group PZU counts on revenues in the health segment to grow to PLN 5 billion (EUR 1.2 bln), faster than the current strategy assumes, the acting CEO Andrzej Klesyk told a conference following the publication of group's financial report.
"Revenues of the health pillar - not a very ambitious target, we would like to see 'five' up front in billions," Klesyk said, stressing that the insurer would fight for this market in a profitable way.
The strategy published in December 2024, sets out to grow revenues in health segment to over PLN 3 billion (EUR 708 mln), which is a growth of over 60 percent, and double EBITDA by 2027.
In the first quarter of 2025, within the health pillar, PZU's revenues increased by 8.6 percent year on year to PLN 509 million (EUR 120.12 mln), mainly due to insurance and PZU Zdrowie (Health) own products (subscriptions).
