The Croatian grocery chain Studenac has secured EUR 300 million to refinance existing long-term loans on more favourable terms and to further expand its network, both through organic growth and acquisitions, the group said in a press release.
As stated, the financing was arranged by the bank, which acted as coordinator.
"This transaction strongly supports Studenac's strategic development direction and strengthens our company's growth potential," said Studenac's CFO Michal Halwa, quoted in the press release.
"It gives us additional opportunities to invest in the further development of the chain, both through organic openings and acquisitions," he added.
Studenac reported that the financing will provide the company with the necessary funds to implement its strategy and further strengthen its position in the region.
Studenac is a Croatian grocery store chain founded in 1991 in Omiš.
