Huuuge, Inc.UPDATE: Huuuge posts USD 24 mln adjusted EBITDA in Q2, vs. USD 23.2 mln consensus
Listed mobile free-to-play games developer Huuuge had USD 24.0 million in adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter, up 24 percent year on year, according to a report. The PAP Biznes consensus was for USD 23.2 million adjusted EBITDA.
In the same period last year, Huuuge recorded USD 19.4 million adjusted EBITDA and USD 15.1 million net profit.
Net profit for the second quarter of 2025, adjusted for a one-off non-core event and employee benefit costs, amounted to USD 18.3 million.
Revenues reached USD 58.8 million versus USD 63.4 million the previous year. The consensus forecast was USD 58.4 million in revenues.
EBIT in the second quarter was USD 20.8 million, compared to USD 16.5 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by PAP Biznes predicted an operating profit of USD 20.9 million for the second quarter.
In the first half of 2025, the company generated revenues of USD 121.2 million, compared to USD 130.3 million the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA was USD 49.3 million versus USD 41.4 million last year.
Adjusted net profit for the first half was USD 38.6 million, compared to USD 33.7 million a year earlier.
The company improved operating profit in the first six months of 2025, reaching USD 43.2 million versus USD 34.6 million previously.
"In the first half of the year, revenues from our key games, Huuuge Casino and Billionaire Casino, totalled USD 119.3 million, reflecting a 6 percent decrease compared to the previous year. This outcome reflects the overall weakening trend in the social casino gaming market," wrote CEO Wojciech Wronowski in a letter to shareholders.
He added that despite a 6.5 percent drop in daily active users (DAU) in the second quarter of 2025, Huuuge maintained a high level of monetization of its flagship games.
According to the CEO, this is evidenced by increasing metrics: average revenue per daily active user (ARPDAU) rose by 1.1 percent, and average revenue per paying user (ARPPU) increased by 2.5 percent quarter on quarter.
"Huuuge is preparing for a strong finish in 2025. According to our internal schedule, in the fourth quarter we will introduce key new functionalities to our flagship games Huuuge Casino and Billionaire Casino. The first update will be released in mid-September, with subsequent ones following in the coming months. Each launch will be supported by a broad marketing campaign featuring celebrities," the CEO announced.
Additionally, the CEO noted that revenues from the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channel doubled in the first half of 2025, reaching USD 25.2 million.
"This segment continuously breaks records, increasing its share of total revenues from 22 percent in the second quarter of 2025 to 24.6 percent in August this year. Moreover, in the first weeks of September, after launching the Huuuge Pay service in the United States, its revenue share exceeded 30 percent," added Wronowski.
He also stated that Huuuge is steadily developing its iGaming market entry strategy.
"Although this area was still in the research phase just a quarter ago, we are now working on building internal competencies for developing our own product. We are realistic about schedules and deadlines and therefore plan to enter this market at the beginning of 2027. Thanks to our experience in online games and our ability to create innovative game functionalities, we believe our iGaming offering will be exceptional compared to competitors," the CEO concluded.
