OECD forecasts Poland's GDP growth at 3.2 pct in 2025, 2.7 pct in 2026
Poland's GDP will likely rise by 3.2 percent this year, and by 2.7 percent in 2026, according to the newest edition of the Economic Outlook report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development OECD. According to the OECD, the average annual CPI will be 4.1 percent and 2.6 percent, respectively.
"The economy will grow by 3.2% this year and 2.7% in 2026, supported by falling inflation, lower interest
rates and rising public investment. Accelerating fiscal consolidation and the impact of unfolding global
uncertainties will weaken activity, but EU funds will continue to boost investment," OECD assessed.
The organisation expects an increase in CPI inflation to 4.1 percent in 2025, as electricity price caps are phased out, followed by a decline to 2.6 percent in 2026.
The experts noted, however, that sharper global slowdown in trade and an increase in geopolitical tensions could lead to lower growth, while more persistent wage growth than anticipated poses an upside risk to inflation.
