Poland with nearly 1.069 mln foreigners performing work at end-May 2025 - stats office
The number of foreigners working in Poland at the end of May stood at 1,068,900, up by 4.4 percent year on year and down by 0.8 percent month on month, Poland's stats office GUS reported.
According to GUS, at end-May, the share of foreigners in the total number of those performing work in Poland was 6.5 percent.
Among foreigners performing work, 405,100 people were employed exclusively under contract of mandate and related contracts, up 3.7 percent year on year and down 1.3 percent on a monthly basis.
Citizens of Ukraine remained the largest group of foreigners working in Poland (66.8 percent). At the end of May, there were 714,000 Ukrainians performing work in Poland, up by 3.0 percent year on year and down 1.0 percent month on month.
