Poland sees 17,199 firms deregistered from stat register REGON in October, up 0.2 pct m/m
Poland saw 17,199 enterprises removed from its statistical register REGON in October, up by 0.2 percent month on month, the stats office GUS reported.
GUS reported that October saw an increase in the number of deregistered civil partnerships (by 19.9 percent) and commercial companies (by 15.8 percent).
Poland's stats office added that compared to the previous month, the number of newly registered entities increased in October by 1.7 percent. An increase was recorded for commercial companies (by 12.1 percent) and sole proprietors (by 2.7 percent).
The number of companies with suspended operations increased by 0.9 percent month on month.
According to GUS' data, entities with suspended activities as at the end of October accounted for 14.8 percent of the total number of registered entities.
