Poland's average wages to rise 8.2 pct in 2025, 7.6 pct in 2026 - MinFin
Average wages in the Polish economy will increase by 8.2 percent in 2025 and by 7.6 percent in 2026, Poland's Ministry of Finance assessed in the document 'Multi-year Macroeconomic Assumptions for 2025-2029'.
In real terms, i.e. including the impact of inflation, average wages will increase by 3.5 percent.
"The main factors supporting wage increases are the economic recovery and the favourable situation on the labour market, where employees still have a strong bargaining position," the finance ministry pointed out.
"In 2026, the positive trends - a good economy and a favourable labour market situation - are expected to continue, which will translate into further wage growth," it added.
The MinFin added that the average wages in the national economy are projected to increase by 7.6 percent in nominal terms and by 3.6 percent in real terms in 2026.
