Poland's CPI at 5.1 pct et end-24, at 3.5 pct at end-25 - IMF
International Monetary Fund forecasts Poland's prices of consumer goods and services (Consumer Price Index) to reach 5.1 percent at the end of this year and to be at 3.5 percent by the end of 2025, according to the latest version of the IMF's cyclical World Economic Outlook report.
According to the IMF forecast, Poland's average CPI inflation will be 2.5 percent in 2029.
The IMF forecasts that Poland's GDP will grow by 3.0 percent and 3.5 percent in 2024-2025, respectively, with growth declining to 2.9 percent in 2029.
The Fund projects the lowering of Poland's C/A balance from 0.8 percent of GDP in 2024 to 0.0 percent of GDP in 2025 and to -1.0 percent of GDP in 2029.
The report does not provide justification for the forecasts.
