Poland's GDP growth seen at 3.5 pct in 2025 - Moody's
Poland's GDP growth is expected to amount to 3.5 percent in 2025, Moody's rating agency said in a report on the Central-Eastern Europe.
"While GDP growth will accelerate in most CEE countries in 2025, there will be large differences between countries with growth rates ranging from 1.5 percent in Slovakia to 3.5 percent in Poland," Moody's assessed in the report.
"Poland's economy is the largest and most diversified among CEE countries. A planned material increase in defence spending to almost 5 percent of GDP in 2025 and the EU's RRF funds [national will be two factors supporting growth," it added.
Of the three major rating agencies, Poland's creditworthiness is rated highest by Moody's (at 'A2'). Poland's rating according to Fitch and S&P is 'A-', one level lower than Moody's. The outlook for all ratings is stable.
Moody's has scheduled Poland's first rating review in 2025 for March 21.
